Vertical Design

Flat die is a kind of vertical design and it is the basic structure of pellet making machine. Vertical design flat die pellet mill contains a horizontal die and a series of rollers. When the biomass materials are fed into the mill, gravity is in full use to transport them to the pellet die. Then, pellets will be formed after rollers compressing the material through the holes of the die.

For vertical design flat die pellet mills, there are two different styles. One is rotating die with stationary roller shaft, and the other is stationary die with rotating roller shaft. The later is mostly applied to large scale pellet production.

• Spare parts (dies and rollers for example) are less cost, easy to change.

Pellet Dies & Rollers

Pellet Die: There are a series of hole in the pellet die. The diameter of the holes is normally 2.5~12mm and you can choose the right one depending on your needs.

Pellet Roller:

Roller is one of the core parts of vertical design flat die pellet mill. The rollers are supposed to made from high alloy steel with is anti-bearable. There may be a single roller or a multiple rollers in the mill. Flat die pellet mill with multiple rollers have bigger capacity.
