What Would Pellet Machine Industry Be Like In the Future?

Currently there are no specific standards for the biomass pellet products quality in the market, but the technology of pellet making undoubtedly would becoming more mature in the future, what kind of pellet can be called good now is a question for most of the pellet buyers, even for some of the pellet producers.

Here are 2 basic factors to consider in judging whether the pellet is good or not:

The heat value of pellet is large: 3900-4800 kilocalories/kg, after carbonization, the heat value could reach to 7000-8000 calories/kg.

The purity of the pellet is high; no impurities(especially the impurities that contains no heat); the carbon content is 75%-85%, the ash content is 3%-6%, the water content is less than 3%, small rocks and other materials that would absorb the heat shall be filtered out of the raw materials before the production.

One possible way to classify the pellet product is by its heat value, for the heat value is the key factor of the fuel products, the difficulty in doing this is how to make the pellet heat value steady. Once we can control the quality of the pellet fuels, the time of the biomass fuel would have come.
