Make Wood Pellets

To begin with, wood pellets cannot be produced without pellet maker equipments.

There are home pellet maker and commercial pellet making machines. Referring to wood pellets, we should start with the raw material. There are plenty of different material biomass materials available for making pellets. The pellet making process is not complicated, but correct guidance is needed especially for beginners.

To make wood pellets, you should get the material prepared firstly. There are hardwood materials and softwood materials. If your material is large in size, you need to make them smaller with the help of a hammer mill. Steam and pressure is needed to heat and bonding the small particles during the pelletizing process. Then, wood pellets will be formed. Wood material contains lignin which acts as glue during the compressing process. This is the reason why making wood pellets needs no binder. They are very hot when coming out of the pellet maker, so a cooler machine is needed to cool the pellet down.
