Particles being too small or too large can both affect the quality of produced pellets.

Pellets always possess a low moisture content which is normally under 10%, and this is the reason why pellets get a higher fuel value and which also makes them more efficient without smoke when burning. • Changes in Raw Material Inclusion and Composition

Different raw materials have different behaviours in the pellet production, and forming a pellet is easier for some materials but a little more difficult for the others. So you need to do some certain changes in the composition of the raw material in order to make quality pellets and increase the productivity at the same time. When taking ahout raw material composition, we refer to moisture content, particle size, especially the inclusion of lubricant and binder.
